Who have following eligibility that person is know as registered medical practitioner.

1.      A qualification granted by an authority specified in section 3 of  either Indian medical degrees act 1916 or specified schedules to the Indian medical council act 1956.

2.      Registered or eligibility to register in medical register of the state (specified for the persons practising inthe modern scientific system of medicine)

3.      Register or eligibility for register in the register of dentist for a state under dentists act 1948

4.      Who is engaged in the practice of veterinary medicine and qualification attained by the state government is also RMP.

Any one of above criteria is sufficient for a person as registered medical practitioner.
